Queen of the week: Mishqah Parthiephal

Mishqah Parthiephal is a South African actress best known for her role as Kris Laurenson in the SABC2 youth drama television series Snake Park, directed by Oscar-nominated director Darrell Roodt.

She also appeared in the 2010 feature film White Gold, which celebrated Indians in South Africa.

In 2016 she guest starred in the SABC1 soapie Skeem Saam.

You may also recognise her from the Discovery TV advert currently gracing our screens.

Having been featured in a number of arthouse films that premiered at the Durban Film Festival, this talented actress has also worked with Quizzical Pictures on numerous projects.

The Joburg-based actress’ latest film, PARAYA, directed by Sheetal Magan and Martin Morganfeld, premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival! 

It is clear with her work ethic that Mishqah is destined for great things.
